Altered Journal Cover

I am not getting much art time lately. I have a lot going on in my personal life lately. Besides the problems with the baby my daughter Megan is having both my other granddaughter were in the hospital a few weeks ago with complications from RSV. I started writting up that blog post but I am not sure if I will ever post it.

Right befor the babies got sick I managed to squeeze a little time in to decorate this hand bound art journal that I made last year.

I really love the little butterfly lady image on the bottom.
It is a fabric transfer I had left over from some fabric atc's I made for Paper Imagery Designs last month.

Here is a two page spread that I had made many months ago using some more Paper Imagery Designs images.

Here is a picture of the fabric atc's I made for March's Design Team Challenge.

Click on the link above to find the instructions on how to make them.

Hi Arlene

I just popped in to check on you and see how the girls were doing. I'm hoping they are all better.

Love this journal girl--you are one talented lady!!

I had to look up ATC on the internet to understand what your little creations were. Very cool! I love their Victorian look. The fabric transfers add another dimension to what (I think) is a traditional paper craft. You're very creative and have a knack for design.
I LOVE these pieces!!

Paula of Daily Window has suggested that I host a mixed media challenge blog post on Layers of Color Art Stamps and that I connect with you.

If I do this challenge would you be willing and able to join, and perhaps invite all your mixed media friends?

You can check out my Daily Window artwork in my (Laura) gallery on www.layersofcolor.com

I love your mixed media artwork and I look forward to "meeting" you! Keep an eye open for a "friend" invite on Facebook!
