Whimsical Butterfly and Polka Dot Canvas

This is what I have been working on this past week. I recycled a 10 x 10 canvas and created this Butterfly and Polka dot painting. The pattern is painted on all four sides of the canvas.

I painted the background and drew the butterfly on a piece of card stock. I painted it before cutting it out and adhering it to the canvas.

I've used acrylics, gesso, a pitt pen, a sharpy and a charcoal pencil and distress ink on this piece.

I still have a few finishing touches to add and then I need to seal it.
