Altered By Me

  For a limited time Paper Imagery Designs is offering two sheets of Valentine images created by some of the design team members. These images were created just for these special Design Team sheets . There have been a few things that I have been working on the past few months that were for publication and I haven't been able to share them. Here is a sneak peak at a couple of pieces of art that I've done for the Daily Window website. If your not familiar with Daily Windows bags click on one of the icons at the top of this post or the link and you can see some of the great handbags they sell. These bags are a great way to showcase your artwork or to even show off pictures of the grand kids.     This second piece is a little different from what you are use to seeing from me. I have worked with fabric on and off for years. I even did the quilt thing for a while. I recently scored a bunch of vintage lace and trims at an estate sale and couldn't wait to do something with it.   Doesn't it feel good when you feel like you've accomplished something? I've been busy this past week finishing up some art projects that I committed myself to. One project is way over due in my mind. There was no time limit set for this project but I've been feeling like I've had something hanging over my head just knowing that I promised two pieces of art. So hopefully they will be going postal next week.   On another note I can't believe my six months is up with the Paper Imagery Designs DT team. These six months have just flown by. Technically my six months aren't up until the end of this month. So I still have some work to do.   I've decided to apply again. Lori and Melissa are two of the best people I've ever worked with. I've had a very busy art weekend! You would have thought with all the holiday happenings I wouldn't have been able to find any time for art but the exact opposite occurred. Or maybe I just wanted to get some of these art book pages done and I made it happen. The above pic is an atc I made on Friday. I got a new set of clear stamps and wanted to try out the butterfly stamp. The image is from Paper Imagery Designs. All of the art on this post has images from PID. These image sheets are awesome and I am having a hard time using anything but PID images lately. My stash of images pale in comparison the these great sheets! This first page still needs a little something. It looks a little empty along the top and along the left edge. But I have to keep in mind when I bind it into my book it will look different. These pages are going to be bound into a little 5 x 7 art book that I started on a few months ago. I've still got a few pages to get done before I can start binding them tog...

Meet Isabella, isn't she a little darling? She is another image available from Paper Imagery Designs . The great thing about these new image sheets is that each sheet has different sizes of each image. I enjoy working in any number of sizes from inchies up to 5 x 7 so this works out well for me. And if inchies are your thing well there are also inchie images sheets. Isabella is a 2 x 2 piece I did today. I'm thinking about turning her into a soldered charm.
